Parker Gallini Statement on Equality
At its core, the practice of law in the United States stands for justice and fairness in our society. The violent murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery, among others, has yet again shed light on our society’s long-standing history of racial injustice and systemic abuse of power by authorities. We at Parker Gallini LLP grieve these losses together and stand in solidarity with the Black and Brown communities in demanding accountability, justice, and equality.
We are also committed to action as a firm and as individuals. We have increased our financial contributions to local and national organizations advocating for an end to systemic oppression and abuses of power and in support of on-going public protests. We are also providing our employees with the opportunity to dedicate a percentage of their firm related time to work with change and justice organizations of their choosing.
We at Parker Gallini LLP understand that we must act now and pledge to do more in the pursuit of justice and freedom for all and to end racism and eliminate bias within our communities, our organizations, and ourselves.
Black lives matter. Justice for all.
