Francelia I. Leievanos Barragan

Law Clerk

Francelia joined Parker Gallini LLP in August 2025 as a law clerk after graduating from New England Law Boston and sitting for the Massachusetts bar exam. Francelia is fluent in Spanish and brings with her a wealth of knowledge due to her various academic and professional pursuits in the field of immigration. At New England Law, Francelia earned an Immigration Law Concentration Certificate based on her completion of substantial coursework in immigration law. Francelia has experience assisting in the preparation and filing of a high-volume of immigrant and nonimmigrant visas, adjustment of status applications, naturalization applications, and humanitarian visas. She is also an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and its New England chapter.

Prior to joining Parker Gallini, Francelia was a law clerk for two Boston-based nonprofits, where she gained experience preparing naturalization applications and assisting unaccompanied minors in navigating the immigration system. Prior to that, Francelia worked as a law clerk at a boutique immigration firm specializing in asylum defense and as a paralegal for a business immigration firm. Francelia served as the AILA New England Chapter Intern from 2023-2024 and the chapter’s Supervisory Intern from 2024-2025.

In her free time, Francelia enjoys playing soccer, hiking, running half-marathons and collecting trinkets.
