John’s entire legal career has been devoted to U.S. immigration and nationality law. His practice covers all facets of employment- based immigration, as well as family immigration and naturalization. He has in-depth experience providing strategic advice and counsel to both small entrepreneurial businesses and to multinational corporations.

An AV-rated immigration attorney for more than a decade, John is also nationally recognized for his expertise in representing distinguished professors, researchers, scientists, engineers, technology workers, business entrepreneurs and artists under the extraordinary ability, outstanding researcher, and national interest waiver immigrant visa categories.

An active member in the Boston Bar Association (BBA), John has served as co-chair of the Immigration Law Section, and is a long-standing member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). He has published immigration articles in Science magazine online magazine, Mass High Tech, and In-House Counsel. He frequently serves as panel speaker and author on business immigration law and advanced strategies for immigration practitioners for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE).
